This is the first in a series of posts I’ll be doing in the run up to the holiday season with some nice ideas for presents for mums, dads or kids.
Whilst a few will be, they won’t all be technology-oriented gadgets and my first suggestion is the exact opposite. My daughter loves toys with flashing lights and sounds, but what I’ve also noticed is how much she also loves playing with traditional wooden toys.
John Crane Toys have recently partnered with Italian wooden toy specialist, Sevi who have consistently produces the most beautiful and clever products for almost 200 year. They were gadgets in their own right back in the early 20th century as they used amazing creativity and workmanship to create gorgeous and colourful toys for kids to play with through the generations.
My little monster would absolutely love the food-oriented toys such as the kitchen, pizza or breakfast kit. She can spend hours making tea parties for her dollies, or with her friends and can stand around her little kitchen for ages.
Its not just ‘girls’ toys either. Sevi offer a wide range of charming toys for boys and girls, each one exuding warmth, character and ingenuity.
I think these toys make a lovely change to all the noise and lights that are out there for Christmas this year and create a nice balance between the modern and traditional.
